CONTINUING TO GROW WITH OUR STUDENTS!!
Trish studied danced in Melrose at the Judith Clark Academy of Dance for many years. She was accepted as a dance major at UMASS Amherst and graduated in 1986. Although she earned her degree in Sociology, her love for dance never wavered. She has done choreography for both Lynnfield and Tewksbury Memorial High Schools. Trish attended and graduated from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston’s Teacher Training Program. During the challenging year of what is 2020, she was regarded for her courage, heart and resilience . Her hard work and dedication to "the show must go on" was evident as she worked hard, and coached her staff to do the same. She and her team gave their dancers the tools they needed to continue their training and finish out the year with a series of 13 small recitals held over three evenings at a beautiful outdoor venue. Trish was commended for keeping participants and audience members safe and distant. People appreciated her supplying a safe, clean and compliant place to dance, both on location for recital, and in-studio during recital prep. People where thankful, that, when all else was cancelled, their children still had their dance schedule in tact, even if remotely. One parent deemed the culmination of dance year 2020 a complete success. Trish strives to train her students holistically, for a deeper and more enjoyable experience of dance. Training strong and healthy dancers has become a mission for Trish. One of her primary goals is to teach techniques and exercises to keep her dancers injury free. We hold close our specialty of teaching the youngest dancers while we continue to develop an exceptional program for our older students. When not teaching or directing you can find Trish running the streets of Tewksbury. She is an accomplished runner with a marathon best time of 3:18!
